Gamers will soon be able to play PlayStation titles without the need for a games console.
Sony has revealed plans to launch a new streaming service called PlayStation Now, which will eventually allow users to play games on broadband-connected devices such as tablets, smartphones and connected TVs.
People will be able to access these titles by logging in via a Sony Entertainment Network account.
The new feature was announced at this week's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
It will initially be available on the PlayStation 3 and 4 consoles before being rolled out to other devices.
PlayStation Now is due for release in the US this summer, but no details about a UK launch were disclosed.
