BBC iPlayer received a record number of views in 2013.
The on-demand TV service attracted three billion programme requests across the year, which is up 33 per cent on the 2.2 billion it experienced in 2012.
Dan Taylor, head of BBC iPlayer for BBC Future Media, said: "We're delighted that iPlayer is enabling more and more people to enjoy the fantastic shows we create when and where they want."
The most popular programme was Top Gear, with one episode of the show receiving 3.4 million views.
Doctor Who, Bad Education, Africa and film Madagascar also made the top ten most-watched programmes, which featured four other Top Gear episodes.
The number of people using BBC iPlayer through a tablet device grew 104 per cent in 2013, while the service's mobile app achieved more than 20 million downloads.
