Calls for improved broadband services have become commonplace across the UK in recent months and the latest has come from Buckinghamshire.
Two businessmen in the county have launched a petition calling for super-fast connections to be provided at Buckingham Industrial Park, local newspaper the Advertiser and Review reports.
Mike Moyse, managing director of The Technical Support Department, commented: "High-bandwidth broadband is the lifeblood of the modern business. If businesses can’t get good connectivity on this estate, they will be forced to move where they can get it."
David Hall, director of The PC People, echoed this view and told the news provider the growth of businesses in the area will be stunted unless action is taken to improve connectivity.
The pairs' petition has attracted the support of district councillor for Buckingham South Howard Mordue, who described the current situation as "regrettable".
